ALPACA INFO DAY FOR BEGINNER BREEDERS

Our Alpaca Info Day for Begin­ner Breed­ers is designed for all those who want to begin breed­ing alpacas and cov­ers the fol­low­ing aspects:

  • You will receive an exten­sive and detailed overview of the func­tion and rel­e­vance of con­for­ma­tion as well as devi­a­tions from the norm with respect to breeding
  • You will learn about the struc­ture of alpaca fleece and how and why it is eval­u­at­ed in this manner
  • We will pro­vide valu­able tips on how to prop­er­ly keep and care for alpacas based on our wealth of experience

This sem­i­nar is per­fect for:

  • Any­one inter­est­ed in alpacas who would like to start keep­ing alpacas
  • Any­one who wants to learn how to feed and han­dle alpacas
  • Any­one inter­est­ed in under­stand­ing and recog­nis­ing the char­ac­ter­is­tics used to eval­u­ate alpacas
  • Alpaca own­ers who are con­sid­er­ing attend­ing shows with their ani­mals and want to learn more about how alpacas are judged at shows
What you will learn dur­ing this seminar:
  • The basics of keep­ing and breed­ing alpacas
  • The basics of feed­ing alpacas
  • How to recog­nise the strengths and weak­ness­es of the ani­mals’ con­for­ma­tion and fleece and know the effects

Dura­tion: approx. six hours, par­tic­i­pa­tion fee €85.00 euros per person
The num­ber of par­tic­i­pants is lim­it­ed to eight per seminar.
